This is a cute little coffee shop near Alta Bates. We were walking around, looking for a place to get a quick bite for lunch and stumbled across this place. The man working the counter and espresso machines was so friendly and genuine. We ended up ordering the blue calm iced latte, which was beautiful although a bit bland. Sort of taste like almond milk with a little vanilla. The three of us ordered different breakfast items, the bagel platter, the breakfast biscuit sandwich, and the avocado toast. Unfortunately, all of these items were a bit mediocre. I believe this was mostly due to the fact that it was winter, and there was very little fresh vegetables that could be added to the dishes. Still a sweet little stop if you're looking for a coffee and something small to eat on the side.

This is just a delightful little cafe. If I lived nearby, I'd totally make this my regular spot. The coffee is great, the food is delicious and reasonably priced and the service is kind and sweet. I had the breakfast wrap and it kept me full all day, but not weighing me down. I didn't eat the potatoes and the guy asked me if I wanted something else! Really great music in the background, big windows letting natural light in and just good vibes. A sweet little Oakland cafe. It's small, but cozy.

Adorable cafe! Healthy options, homemade syrups, lots of food options. Seating, WiFi, small snacks and quality ingredients. Nice service (offered to pet me sample the syrups), had no idea this place was here, will be back :)

I love supporting local coffee shops and this one is truly a hidden gem. The staff here is wonderful and the menu is quite extensive including food. My go to is a flat white with oat milk or almond milk. Very subtle with the great taste of their coffee. Also the prices here aren't bad compared to other big name coffee shops nearby.

If you're looking for a café that feels like home, look no further! This cozy spot is a true gem, offering incredible coffee and food that'll make your taste buds sing. Their chai latte is pure perfection--just the right balance of spice and sweetness to warm your soul. As for the food, the Huevos Rancheros is an absolute must-try! It's a masterpiece featuring two perfectly fried eggs, creamy avocado, flavorful black beans, melted cheese, and a vibrant house-made pico de gallo. The green tomatillo salsa ties it all together beautifully, and the corn tortillas add that authentic touch. What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to see you. It's the kind of place that instantly lifts your spirits--a true breath of fresh air. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a hearty meal, this café is a delightful escape from the everyday. Highly recommend! I wish I had pictures, but I can never wait too long to start my meal!

I came here to grab breakfast and work for few hours. The quiche wouldn't be ready til 11am so I order the avo toast instead. And a cold brew. I've found that avo toast is shockingly easy to mess up, I'm often disappointed by what I get at restaurants. But their version is solid! Basic, but good quality bread, ripe avocado and perfect egg. Next time I'm going to add feta. The staff is very friendly, WiFi's good, and they've got pleasant meditation/spa music playing in the background. Will be back!

Very cute small cafe. They have one larger table in the back and some bar seats. Free WiFi, bathroom, and a few outlets. Music mostly covers of songs in foreign languages - a tad on the loud side. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great customer service. Had a good flow of customers throughout the morning so seems popular. I got the 10.4 latte hot. It was a tad on the sweet side for me but tasty overall and a large portion. Would recommend this local business!

I'm so delighted to happen across this little cafe on the way to the Shops on Broadway. I'm brand new to the neighborhood so I'm exploring what it has to offer. Petit Cafe has me thrilled that it's only a short 0.1 walk from my apartment. I came in after 1:00 PM for a later brunch and ordered a lavender latte, biscuit sandwich (sans avocado) with potatoes, and guava/cream cheese scone. The sandwich was delicious! A fresh, flaky, butter biscuit was accompanied by a fluffy and delightfully cheesy egg and grilled onions. Potatoes were nicely seasoned. All served hot and fresh. It was a bit of a wait to get this but nothing to deter me from ordering again. Lavender latte was beautiful and good, but I was expecting more of a lavender hit. The scone appeared to be cooked a little more than I typically like but it was still nice and fluffy with incredible flavor from the guava. The cafe itself is super cute and quaint, and appears to be a popular destination to do some work on your laptop. It's safe to say I'll become a regular. I'm already planning to bring my BFF here when she comes to visit.
